Dog for Adoption: Nozomi
Nozomi is another of ARK’s undiscovered treasures. She is 9 years old, a gem of a dog, good with children, other dogs, other cats, patient, kind-hearted… the list goes on and on. Her mother was kept by a homeless man. When Nozomi and her five siblings were born, there was no way the man could care for them all. She was adopted once but when that person got a job transfer, Nozomi was brought back to the shelter. Three things Nozomi adores: food, walks and men over 50. She’ll do a little dance when it’s time to eat or go for a walk, a dance that is sure to charm you. She will sit and watch older men with adoring eyes. Perhaps she remembers the man who was with her when she knew only the love and warmth of her mother and brothers and sisters. Nozomi would be perfect for an older family, a first-time dog owner or a family with children. Please give Nozomi a chance to turn those beautiful eyes on you.

Please email ARK at tokyoark[at]arkbark.net or call 080-6146-3889 (English) or 080-6517-8913 (Japanese). Tokyo ARK is a nonprofit organization founded by Brit Elizabeth Oliver. It is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. All animals are vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Prospective new owners undergo a screening process.
The Japan Times supports stray and abandoned animals by publishing this photo box every Saturday in the Weekend/People section of the paper. The information is then archived here on the Angels with Fur site one week later, on the following Saturday.
