Dog for Adoption: Cherry

Cherry

Cherry found a new home!

Cherry, an 8-year-old Labrador mix, lived in an apartment complex with a family. One day, they simply moved out and left her locked in behind. Long hours of waiting followed, yet no one returned for her. Finally, her whining alerted the neighbors, who were able to rescue her. Cherry is a very clever dog and loves people, but the trauma of being abandoned has left its mark. Now, if she is left alone, she will lick her hind leg until it is raw. If someone is with her though, she is calm and content. This sweetheart of a dog knows how to sit, lie down, wait and fetch. Cherry needs someone who can appreciate the companionship of a loyal dog and understand that she needs a friend who will stand by her through thick and thin and not just walk out on her. Cherry needs someone she can trust. We’re hoping it could be you.
