Dog for Adoption: Ebisu
Quite a character, the expressive, affectionate, yet shy Ebisu (above in an unposed shot) is also an athlete, able to jump any fence under 150 cm. He even has been described as something of a shy James Bond! Ebisu’s great love, however, is playing ball. Five years old and four years at the shelter, Ebisu’s life has not always been a romp. He was cared for during his first year by the head of a family. When the man died, however, the rest of the family members simply locked Ebisu in the house and moved away. Luckily, he was found by the landlord before it was too late. Ebisu is crying out for those good times again and though he is loved at the shelter, it’s not the same as the camaraderie he once knew.
